Position Specific Responsibilities
Searching for a dedicated person ready to handle aspects related to student-athlete experiences. This will encompass social media, marketing enhancements, leadership or career developments, DEI, compliance & so much more. If you have a background in athletics or were a student athlete, & wanting to assist the advancements related to current athlete experiences, this is probably something you want to look into. Summary of Responsibilities
 Coordinates the development and implementation of student-athlete experience services. Assists in marketing efforts, Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) leadership and support efforts, and student-athlete leadership programs.
Essential Functions
  •  Coordinates the development and implementation of student-athlete personal, professional, leadership and career development programs and committees.
  •  Coordinates the development and implementation of student-athlete diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts and programs.
  •  Coordinates the development and implementation of associated marketing, social media and enhancement efforts for student-athletes and assist with marketing for sports programs.
  •  Assists with NIL leadership and support efforts.
  •  Ensures all necessary program documents and action items are prepared, completed and distributed to meet compliance, regulation, and service standards.

Requirements

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field by hire date
Preferred Education
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years of experience in advising, leadership, student athlete development or related field. Every 15 hours of college coursework beyond a bachelor’s degree can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of dynamics related to college athletes.
  • Awareness of marketing dynamics & tactics.
  • Understanding of Name, Image & Likeness features.

Valid Kansas drivers license

Pay Information Range from $43,000 to $61,000/yr. Salary determination based on experience matching with criteria.
