This site was founded by Kristi Dosh, who also founded Business of College Sports to serve the college sports industry in 2011. As the NIL space has grown, Kristi has advised companies, athletic departments, professionals and students on positions related to NIL and saw a need to build a site dedicated to growing the talent base in this emerging economy.
Kristi is currently a contributor for Forbes on sports business. She has written on the business of college sports for more than a decade for outlets such as ESPN (read about her road to ESPN here), The Washington Post, and Sports Business Journal. Kristi is also a consultant for athletic departments, universities and NIL collectives on matters ranging from strategic planning to conference realignment and navigating the new NIL landscape.
Kristi currently teaches NIL courses at the University of Florida in both the Public Relations and Sports Management programs. She previously hosted the limited-run Game Face podcast for Linktree, which focused on NIL strategies for student athletes, and in 2022 she launched a similar podcast called The Players’ Platform with Duke track and field athlete Emily Cole.
Kristi is the author of business of college football book, Saturday Millionaires: How Winning Football Builds Winning Colleges. She holds a B.A. from Oglethorpe University and a J.D. from the University of Florida.
